Some of my favorite things 2009
At this time of year, I tend to think about my favorite things because it’s Thanksgiving and because it’s time to watch The Sound of Music again. So, here’s my list:
• My family – both immediate and extended
• Traditional marriage
• The Constitution
• Religious freedom
• Term limits – Imagine if we were stuck with Obama until he died.
• Free speech – because I can write in this blog without fear of execution
• A government founded on checks and balances so we wouldn’t have a dicatorship
• The American Military – I pray for our soldiers regularly.
• Glenn Beck – because he’s a freedom fighter laughing in the face of extreme oppositon
• Awapuhi quill polish
• Internet access in the forest
• Sammy (a very noble squirrel)
• Netflix – I have seen a lot of cool shows for under $10/month.
• Trees and clean air – I do love the environment. I just think it’s stupid to believe that man affects the global climate.
• Amazon Prime – it saves me a lot of money over the course of the year.
• EA Sports Active on the Wii – I finally found a great way to work at home.
• My iPhone and all those sweet apps like Lose It! and Wikipanion
• Ronald Reagan – What a guy!
• My laptop – thanks Apple!
• Fox News
• Steve Wilson’s Get Your Groove Back – 1 album = hours of entertainment
• Pixar, Disney, Dreamworks – Great entertainment for me and the whole family
• TV (It’s the new cinema) Lost, Fringe, The Office, Burn Notice, White Collar, Psych, Arrested Development, Glee, Pushing Daisies, etc.
• Time – cherish each day!
